Major geo-political
problems will be resolved by an unexpected event
that triggers a series of reconfigurations. |
|
The first decade of
the 21st century has been marked with scars caused
by mass dislocations conveyed in by economics,
politics, societal breakdowns, and disruptive
failures. |
|
Across the world
megalomaniacs burdened with enlarged, frail egos and
temperamental temperaments are empowered personally,
politically, and militarily beyond their Peter
Principle levels. Each knows that he is on the world
stage being displayed live on ubiquitous information
devices across the global stage -- that stage he
fancies himself to have been foreordained as next
grand master. |
|
Underpinning and
engulfing these megalomaniacs is quicksand. Some
feel its presence, but none understands its dangers.
Each is too busy posing for his audience -- and
himself. |
|
These short-term
winning losers are jockeying for relative and
absolute position. They reside in Iran, Russia,
North Korea, the US, across Asia and the middle
east, (even) South America, every central bank, and
each of the oil-rich, suddenly
financially-faltering, overly-empowered tribal
enclaves. And, as always, the dandies ensconced in
remote, unidentified cave locations. |
|
At some point after
some time, one or more must emerge swinging chaotic
forces of evil, uncaring incompetence that will
shake up and redistribute resources and realign
people into unintended and unpredictable
configurations. |
|
The world's problem
is that in 2009, there is no foreordained grand
master. There is no true leader. There is no guiding
force. He who emerges only vanquishes his opponents,
not problems confronting mankind. |
